To be a wedding photographer, to witness one of the most important moments in a couple’s life, is a great honor but also a great responsibility. A wedding photographer must be able to capture spontaneous photos as they happen, as well as to create emotional moments.
A wedding photographer should master portrait photography, product photography, fashion photography, and, at the same time, be a confident of the couple and guide them through the event. A wedding photographer must be elegant, kind and sociable.
Your wedding is unique, each moment is irreplaceable, that is why they must be treated with maximum responsibility. In time, all wedding symbols – the dress, the music, the emotions – will only be remembered through the wedding photo album and the wedding movie. As time passes by, memories is what you’ll value the most.Since 2019, I created The Wedding Day VLOG project, a VLOG shot on the wedding day, that captures beautiful moments and emotions of the grooms, the family and friends on the wedding day, as well as instances of a wedding photographer’s life.
I have dedicated more than 20 years to wedding photography which made me familiar to every moment of the wedding, so I can anticipate any problems that might come up in such way that we can avoid them.What you should know before your wedding:
the wedding’s order of events and the time allocated to each one;
the number of guests – depending on the number of guests, a second photographer might be required in order to fully cover the whole event;
the degree of illumination of the main locations (the church, the restaurant);
the special moments and when/how will they happen;
to assure at least 4 hours for the photoshoot on location; in order to ensure the production of good quality pictures, first, we need to have enough time;
when and how will be scheduled the sessions “Save the Day” and “Trash the Dress”;
it’s important not to skip the “Save the Day” session when we will learn how to pose in order to look best (individually and as a couple).
What to consider when you choose a wedding photographer:
it shouldn’t be cheap – it is very hard to produce quality wedding photography, it requires effort and abilities, both on the wedding day as well in the next weeks of post-processing after the wedding, which a cheap wedding photographer will not be able to do well;
they should show you a complete portfolio, not just the best 1-2 photographs from the wedding day, but all the pictures the couple received after the wedding;
they should be trustworthy and passionate about what they do;
they should have a backup for Anything, you can’t risk losing the photographs (in case a memory card, the flash or a camera is faulty, etc.).
